these services allow users to find full-text articles in journals, newspapers,
encyclopedias, almanacs, and other print sources. These resources are reliable
and credible and easily searched by subject, topic, keyword, and various other

Collection: test preparation books to read online
Learning Express Library is an online, interactive resource
to help you reach your academic and career goals. You can have unlimited free
Internet access to practice tests that are based on official exams. There is
instant scoring and individual analysis to help you improve your test scores.
You are given explanations of both right and wrong answers. Just some of the
tests available are Elementary School Skills, Middle School Skills, High
School Skills, 8th and 11th grade TAKS, GED, SAT, ACT, THEA, and ASVAB, as well as practice tests
for the postal worker, firefighter, police officer, real estate, ESL and US
Citizenship exams.
The Rockwall County Library is providing this service
free to library card holders. Ask at the front desk of the library for an
information sheet to help you use this service at the library or from your home
computer.

These databases are available for use within the library
or you can access them from home using your library card number. They include past
issues of the Dallas Morning News from two sources, covering 1885 - 1977 and
1984 - Current.

The library's research materials also include microfilm newspapers, census records, and some county
records, selected periodicals on microfiche, and a vertical file (currently being
reorganized).
