New Patron Record Review Feature

 

  Come by the front desk at the library to set up a PIN access code for your library account. 

 

   Once you have your PIN, go to the library web page at www.rocklib.com and select the “Catalog” option.

 

  At the bottom center of the next screen you will find a button labeled “Patron Record Review”.  (You may need to scroll down to see this button.)  Click on it and you will find two boxes to fill in.

 

 Enter the barcode number from the back of your library card in the “Patron / Alternate ID Number” box.  Do not include any blank spaces in the number. 

 

  Then fill in the PIN box with the PIN number or word you have set up.  The PIN is case sensitive.

 

  Next, click on “Submit Request”, and you will see the contact information we have on file for you, your card expiration date, and a summary of your current account status, including the titles and due dates for each item currently checked out to you.  Most books, audio tapes and CDs can be renewed one time by checking the box in the “Items” column and then selecting “renew checked items”. 

 

  Remember that some items cannot be renewed, including video tapes, DVDs and books that have a list of patrons waiting for them.  Be sure to check and see if the due date changes when you attempt to renew an item.  Also, check the top of the page for the red warning message “One or more items cannot be renewed. Check at the circulation desk.”
